The unending situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories has raised concerns globally, and numerous individuals and groups have now spoken up on the situation.
Several international organizations have publicly condemned the actions of the IDF in Gaza this year, including:
- Francesca Albanese, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, who details in a report released in December 2024, the Israeli destruction of Gaza and their transgressions against the Palestinian people, both of which have created ”an unparalleled humanitarian catastrophe”.
- Amnesty International: Amnesty International concluded after examining the deliberate destruction of Palestinians in Gaza and the Genocide Convention, that Israel has committed and is continuing to commit genocide against Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip.
- Human Rights Watch (HRW): HRW reported on multiple attacks by Israeli forces on known aid worker locations in Gaza, emphasizing the need to end unlawful attacks and ensure accountability.
- Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF): MSF condemned specific attacks on their facilities and staff, including a deadly strike on a shelter that resulted in casualties among their personnel.
- World Health Organization (WHO): The WHO expressed alarm over the impact of the conflict on healthcare facilities and personnel in Gaza, strongly condemning such attacks and the violation of international humanitarian laws.
