IDF soldiers are mainly Gen Z’s, whose attitudes towards travel and whose nature as digital natives allows them to embrace remote work where travel, career and lifestyle are deeply intertwined.
Exhaustion, economic hardship and employment uncertainty are among many factors contributing to turnout decline.
More can be done to squeeze the lifeline of the IDF!
IDF Manpower Issues
Morale is already at an all time low. Turnout is declining.
–Turnout rate DROPPED from 100-150% from start of war to 75-85% as of 11/11/2024.
–Refuseniks : As of 2025, 100,000 Israelis have refused to serve, including 1,000 pilots.
–48% of reservists reported a significant loss of income since October 7

–41% said they were fired or forced to leave their jobs due to extended periods in the reserves.
